Early treatment.
Some misalignments are best treated while the jaw is still growing. We spot them in time and accompany your child calmly and without rushing.

( Treatment for children )
Using growth, setting the course.
In early treatment we use natural growth to steer the development of jaw and teeth in the right direction. Removable braces are often used for this, made individually in our own laboratory. We also treat children with aligners – clear trays designed especially for younger patients.
Early treatment can simplify or shorten a later one. Whether and when it makes sense is something we decide together with you after a thorough examination.

What speaks for it.
- 01

Removable braces are made in our own laboratory – with short distances to the orthodontists.

( Good to know )
When should you come by?
We recommend a first orthodontic check-up at primary school age – or earlier if you or your dentist notice something. Possible signs are:
- Crossbite or open bite
- Front teeth that stick out or sit far back
- Early loss of baby teeth
- Thumb sucking or a dummy beyond toddler age
- Frequent mouth breathing
( Process )
Treatment for children – step by step.
- 01
First appointment
A child-friendly examination – relaxed and without any treatment.
- 02
Findings & plan
We explain what we see and whether and when treatment makes sense.
- 03
Braces from the laboratory
If needed, our laboratory makes individual braces for your child.
- 04
Accompanying growth
At regular check-ups we adjust the braces and watch the development.
( Costs )
What does insurance cover?
For children and teenagers, statutory health insurance covers the costs when treatment is medically necessary. Early treatment is covered only for certain findings.
We advise you openly on what insurance covers and which additional services may be worthwhile.
Good questions, clear answers
Is your question not listed? Give us a call or ask at your first appointment.
At what age does a first appointment make sense?
A first check-up is often useful at primary school age – or earlier if something stands out, such as a crossbite.
Will my child still need fixed braces later?
Sometimes, yes. Early treatment can simplify or shorten later treatment, but it does not replace it in every case.
How long do removable braces have to be worn?
We decide that individually. Removable braces only work when they are worn – we discuss with your child and you how to make that work.
What should we bring to the first appointment?
Your child’s insurance card, the completed registration form and – if you have them – X-rays or reports from your dentist.
